Our R&D work will take some time before you see a fully fledged system. Due to the magnitude of what gene editing can potentially do, it's very important that our work is not only open source, but very very thoroughly debugged. Therefore, these timelines do not represent all the debugging steps, and nor are they pinned to exact dates and times. We don't want to set false expectations. Rather, these timelines are for a broad and loose idea of how far we have come as of last update to this page, and some of what is to come in our future plans. Please note that numbers assigned are not an indicator of the order in which things will be done, and are subject to change.
